BIO

EDDIE BLACK was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Eddie is a talented songwriter and musician. Eddie has been active mainly as a bassist and a guitarist. He has been involved in many areas in entertainment and productions and has worked with many artists and bands such as; Diego Saa, Kelly Miller, Debra Ainsworth, Joelle, Stanger at the Gate, Darren Gilbert from Subtektx, JMK, Erko Nomm from Throttlecaster, Heading West and Basic Black.

For 2009 Eddie goal is to find talented a Artist or band to work with. Eddie would like to tour and continue to play music. Eddie's dedication, experience, hard work and professional attitude is a priceless find for any group today!

In 2008 Eddie put together a project and made it to the semi finals in a Calgary radio contest on the Vibe 98.5 $100,000 Star Search Contest. Eddie but he continues to write and record new music and seek talented artist's or bands to work with.

In 2001 Eddie was hired to create instrumental music for the purpose of intros on audio books for Aurora Publishing.

Eddie currently spends a majority of his time as a working musician and music teacher for guitar and bass.

Eddie has organized events for fundraising to help the Children's Miracle Network and he also has donated several hundred wrapped CD's for people who are stuck in the hospitals in Alberta over the Christmas season to cheer them up. Eddie believes that by sharing his music with those who need it most is truly a privilege for him to offer and the opportunity to lift someone up and brighten their day.

Eddie enjoys travelling, songwriting and performing music. Music is Eddie's passion and next to his family, he loves to be involved in it daily.
